I have been in a gay relationship for the past 14 years.
Around 6 months ago my partner starting smoking funny stuff and is now totally addicted to it. We have a friend up in the country who has the same addiction. Apparently they are now partners. I still live with my partner and we sleep together but no sex. He is very abusive towards me. We had a major argument today about me getting public transport to a doctors to get some results. He had the car to do xmas shopping but he said that I never told him about wanting to go to the doctor and was so angry and said if you walk out the door then don't come back. I am finding it hard to let go. I know he has moved on but there is a part of me that is still hoping. Honestly I feel that he is a lost cause and the 2 of them can just rot in the country together. What can I do, I have no money to move out. I am on benefits and that does not pay much. I have my name down for a government house but that could take forever. I don't know where to turn, its hurting me living here ![]() |

Are you still living together tho? So he didn't actually ended your relationship? Or he did? I can't really see how this story ended if it did.

If you go to a doctors appointment, don't come back? What was that all about? That's a bit extreme.
