This is what I want to do.
My partner never wants to hug me, so I was lying in bed today and thinking that I'd like when my partner wants to have sex with me to trade it for maybe some hugging instead. But I don't want to have to ask for it every time. ![]() Thoughts? |

What does your partner have to say about it?

She agrees to hug me at times, but I have to ask and I don't feel comfortable getting reluctant affection.

Maybe she'll come around to enjoying hugs, if enough are given. Sounds like a complete paradigm shift.

Okay, I haz a confused. How do you have sex without embracing each other?
I think it sounds more like a public affection thing than hugs, but I may be misunderstanding what's going on. |

do you mean trading as in You Give Me Hugs and I'll Give You Sex?
or do you mean you want hugging instead of sex? you could always try to incorporate hugging as part of foreplay. If I don't get to cuddle after sex it sometimes feels incomplete. and I agree, reluctant affection isn't the same. I don't really have any ideas or advice since she knows you want hugs but doesn't seem to enjoy it. |
