Was just listening to Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun' - I'm trying to hold on to good thoughts- good things are happening in my life- but I think I need to express my irritation in order to release the tension its causing- instead of just stuffing down my emotions- something I normally do with negative emotions- especially irritation or anger- I never had good examples of how to express my anger.
So anyway, ****ing people man- why be nice and friendly in one situation, and then completely ****ing ignore you in another?! Really ****ing annoys me to no end. I've learned to take a deep breath and the art of distraction- usually with comedy- but jeesus effin Christ- it's like I'm learning to read people more- see the ones who are real, and the ones who are fake.
****ing what the F UCK ever!

Most people are involved in their own issues 99% of the time. Obviously I don't know the exact scenario and maybe they are ignoring you. Most of the time they just have something going on in their head and aren't thinking about ignoring people at all. It takes courage and practice but you could approach them casually and see what their reaction is. What's the worst thing that could happen? They ignore you... Then you know More often I think you'll see what I'm talking about and the you can be annoyed with how ditsy everyone is

Hi Angsty. Well, To use your words.....Why the %$#@ give them the power to give a %$#@ about what they say! Seriously, if someone is not really a friend, or you do not feel that they have your best interest at heart, DONT GIVE A you know what as to what they say!
In this life you will come across people who care, people who dont and people that act like they care. The last of that group will become obvious very quickly! Take them out of your address book. And those who do care, dont abuse their "caring" and be there for them when needed and you will find out who your friends are.

Believe me the naughty list will be a lot better then the nice. Just the way things are. Love Yourself, Care about Yourself, Your Opinion, Your Thoughts and then a little bit of credit on others opinions and I think you will be much better off!!

Throughtout my life problems, I noticed the majority of people make me just plain hate life. But, if you can accept this and get passed it. You can look forward to hopefully meeting the small minority that you can at least tolerate.

Sometimes I feel the same way that you do about most people. Unfortunately, a lot of people tend to be a lot more focused on their own problems then those of others. We live in a me, me, me society. More and more people are becoming narcissistic and cold. If it's not their problem, then most people would rather not deal with anything that doesn't involve them on some level.

There are still some caring and genuine people out there, but you have to look hard to find them. Sometimes you just have to give some people the benefit of the doubt when life becomes to overwhelming for them to deal with.

If they're always all about themselves though, then it's best to move on and ignore them as they'll do nothing but frustrate you and make you think that everyone else is just like them when that's not always the case.

I just love "Black Hole Sun"!

You never can tell about people. My husband has been called a snob for not speaking to someone. My husband has gloucoma and is almost blind in one eye and has no perphial (sp) vision. He doesn't see people unless they are right in front of him. I know that's not the case with most people but there can be other reason people don't seem to notice someone. Of course, some are just jerks or maybe have bipolar on a bad day. Just some thoughts.

I don't feel many people are taught to appropriately express anger. Wish it weren't so, yet, what's the use of wishful thinking? One thing, I've worked on, is the anger in the here and now, about a specific incident in the moment, or is it an amplified echoing of some repeated pattern that has occurred time and again, in my lifetime?

Stuffing down emotions, positive or negative emotions, does no good for health, whether that be emotional health or physical health. I have to be careful of stuffing things down, and not asserting myself. Otherwise, I run the risk of being Freud's Anna, in a way. Immobilized.

Hope that the person, or persons that brought about such irritation within you, isn't a driving force, in how you are feeling, today?

Soundgarden - great song. I have been re evaluating my friendships
lately too. It's sad, not a whole hell of alot are really there for me, except
maybe 2 or 3. Ironically, I have 323 frenz on fb??? Hmmm... idnk.
