I wish I had more friends to hang out with. The two close ones I am thinking of are all spending time with their families.

Is it wrong to not want to spend time with my parents but rather people my age? I feel like I am just becoming a teenager. But most people are past this stage in life.

How old are you? I feel this way and I'm in my later twenties, but it probably has a lot to do with being single. The majority of people around me as well as all of my friends are with someone, married, kids, etc. and once you get to that point family becomes the top priority. It makes it hard to maintain friendships. It's a good thing but also a bad thing if you aren't in the relationship/marriage game!
Thanks for this!

You guessed it. Late 20s. Thanks for understanding.
