I was with a guy for nearly a year and recently found out he lied to me about how many kids he had with x-wife. Why idk. Now he is wanting to work things out. I am really heartbroken. I always seem to find these types of guys. I just want someone to love me and be good to me.. be honest.

it is a shame that people have to lie. it is so hurtful. but if he is going to lie about how many kids he has, what else is he going to lie about? i am sorry that you are hurting. i am sure there is a decent and kind man out there for you somewhere. hang in there.

Thank you. I keep telling myself that as well. It is just harder when he calls and texts.

Did he lie? did he claim not to have an ex and kids? I just wanted to know to get some clarity on this.

Just because he has had second thoughts does not mean he wronged you. Perhaps it was the wrong time for him to try a new relationship and he was in denial about his relationnship with his ex? I dunno.

I know it hurts but I'm just saying, if he was on the rebound, there was a risk that this might happen.

I'd just try to avoid people that are clearly on the rebound from a past relationship in the future.
