Hello Everyone,
I have been dating a man for about six weeks now. I knew that he had combat related P.TS.D. . But he recently told me he is also bipolar. He told me he didn't tell me before because he was afraid i would judge him. I explained to him that i suffered for years with horrible anxiety and depression and its only been a few years since i have finally recovered by some miracle from both conditions.

He has recently started taking new medications for his bipolar disorder. Our relationship is pretty serious. He has told me he loves me and tells me often how much he needs me. I have read alot about bipolar but i dont really know if there is anything anyone out there knows about what i should expect if anything as far as behavior i may encounter and how i should handle it. I really care about this man. He has been through so much and i hope we have a chance at a future together. We are both in our early 40s .Im sure our ages have nothing to do with this but just to give you an idea of our maturity level.
