what if he never comes back, never contacts me again? Never knows what I needed from him to ensure I would have stayed.

What can I do with that. I keep thinking I have moved on, then out of the blue, the reality hits me - that I cannot do this without him. I love him too much to let go, yet In the end - it is the only thing I have control over. That is letting go.

If only telepathically he knew....

The big question is has he moved on? If he has I suggest you, not tell him these things, however, if he hasn't moved either then I would just be honest with him and see where it goes. Good luck.
