I know the feeling to well. Dealing with that now actually. My problem is that I know I can go to him. But the thing stopping me is that fact that I don't want to sit there and starting talking and do nothing but cry the whole time.

Maybe write him a letter? let him read it and if he starts the conversation then go from there. But if you feel you can't talk to him for reasons that you think he will blow up at you. You might want to re-think things.

There is a site that might help you out. I have checked it out and I have to agree with it, but I have yet to figure out how to actually do any of it.

Best of luck, I gave the only advice I could give, that might help.
