So I realized I first joined this place two years ago caused I had been in self harm and some eating problems and had told nobody and wanted to see what the world would say.

After telling people and getting into counseling for two years I didn't really post on here...

And now here I am a college freshmen feeling so lonely that I come here for my communication.. Is that pathetic?

I just think it's interesting that when I come on here it's always for a specific reason... It's not like facebook where you just go on to be on facebook.

We identify with something that reminds us who we are, where we're going and where we've been. I think it's healthy as perhaps you found strength here or just enjoyed the talks. Either way I hope your doing good and feeling better about your circumstance and your future!

I know what you mean. I found this place by accident and have used it to help me feel calmer between T appts. Also it gives me satisfaction when I can offer help or support to others with similar issues. I've learned a lot just from people here.

And I don't 'do' facebook. I guess it takes too much dedication and those 'friends' seem to want too much from me...more than I'm able to give at this time.
