Hello,
My husband of 6 years has decided this week he is going to leave me. We had been going to counseling due to about 5 weeks ago him telling me he isn't happy with us anymore. He also let me know he is no longer in love with me. I am devastated, but know I need to move forward. I'm looking for guidance and comfort from others that have gone through this or going through this. I know there is a difficult road ahead! |

Curleq82, Five weeks isn't very long for counselling. It is sad that he does not want to work on making your marriage better. I hope you will seek therapy for yourself through this difficult time.

I agree with bluekoi, 5 weeks isn't very long. It isn't long enough to patch up your relationship I suggest you keep going at it. Also, no one can be IN love with anyone. Love is a choice it's not some mess you just fall into. You can choose to love him and he can choose to love you. Talk and ask why he feels this way.
I'm sorry your going through this and I wish you the best of luck ![]() |

i'm sorry to hear your bad news but maybe in the end it will be good news just getting away from this person, as they don't sound too comitted right now. maybe they will come back when they saw what they lost and hopefully you don't take them back if they want to
