But I know that it must feel confusing and hurtful to you. For that I am so sorry. You do not deserve to be treated this way.

Consider that as positive social action and blessing in disguise. They are helping you out indirectly for you to know who is the right guy you deserve. If that guy is driven away by these people, he is not the right guy for you who can stand by you and who doesn't really care for you. You should even thank these people who had done this to you. Sooner or later, they will leave you alone. Reverse psychology my dear.
