I hate it when I text someone and they like never respond, rarely do or take hours to but when I am with that person, they are constantly on their phones texting so I know I am just being ignored. Also in a similar way, it drives me crazy that some people will constantly text while I am trying to talk to them or hang out with them but when they are with someone else, they will barely text at all. Makes me feel like they truly do not value me as a friend but more as an acquaintance. But even then, I still think it is rude. It is okay to briefly look at your phone or reply or send a message every so often while I'm talking, I have no problem with that. I do the same thing. But holding full conversations with someone over text while someone is speaking to you, in my opinion, is extremely rude.
