Besides understanding and acceptance, do you think tolerance is the main ingredient to make a relationship last?

I'd say so; to tolerate means that you accept/endure something even if you don't completely agree with it/like it/understand it.
Nobody is perfect and tolerating someone's little quirks is a lot better than constantly trying to fix your partner as long as his/her behaviour does no damage to you or others.
Don't try to find or create an ideal mate, instead be happy when you are with someone and think; 'For all his/her failings, we could grow old together'

Acceptance/compassion/tolerance VS. judgmental/critical/controlling. These are our choices in every situation every day. Which will we choose today?
