So I had a co worker asked me if i wanted it help her move. Me and this girl rarely talk. And I'm sure she has plenty of guy friends to help her. I know she's a single mother. But does it the question mean anything or am I just over analyzing as always? She's actually really pretty. And nice too.

It means that you have an opportunity to make a good impression on her. How interested are you in taking advantage of this opportunity?

Well we hardly see each other. I work on the floor while she works in the wireless department.(walmart) I only see her if they want more people to come and help zone(which is why she was tere helping us zone. Straightening up the items.) I sometimes go to wireless to check out some stuff. I'm very interested....buuuuut....there's a problem....that was like months ago....just started thinking about it while watching how I met your mother episode(don't judge me lol)

Not judging, just want to understand. I think you are saying that she asked you to help months ago but it came to mind now. But if you are interested now...why don't you ask her out now, or for coffee?

You are worried that she will say no, and then you will feel like a fool.

We are all fools around women - you probably blew your chances when you did not help her move, but who can say, women are very strange.

I think it (the question) means she's got a lot of nerve. Helping someone to move is one of the biggest favors one person can do another. Nobody likes moving or helping other people to move. This is a favor people do for close relatives and for good friends. I'll bet this gal does not have a bunch of guy friends . . . at least not who like her well enough to want to start lugging furniture around for her.
She could hire movers, but she'ld rather get free labor out of you. She must think you're a pretty nice guy to even ask this of you. Still, I think it's nervy to ask a big personal favor of someone she hasn't really struck up a friendship with. If she can get you to do this, then she'll be pestering you the next time she needs some muscle for another reason. You'll end up feeing used. |

I wondered right off the bat if you own a truck. I have a pick-up. It's amazing the number of people who think I would be willing to help them move because I have a truck.
My second thought was along the line of what Rose said. She's looking for some free muscle. We (women) might be strange, but most of us are not ballsy enough to ask a guy we hardly know to help us move. I seriously doubt it was her way of seeing if you were interested in dating. |

I'd say keep it simple.
She's asked you to help her move. If it's something you don't mind doing then go along and help her move purely because it's a nice thing to do. It will help her and it may lead to a nice chat and getting to know her more. Or not. Don't worry either way. The very fact that you agree and turn up will show you're a friendly reliable guy. Worst case scenario is she's using you purely to help her move but then that is precisely what she's said so it's not like she's got a hidden agenda or anything ![]()

Gotta give some to get some, or a Nigerian girlfriend used to say 'hand come, hand go'.
