A week ago, the symptoms of my bipolar skyrocketed. My boyfriend and I were irritable and I exploded in an anger episode. I said terrible things I didn't mean and told him that if he didn't care about me then I was going to harm myself. It scared him and now everything has fallen apart. He is keeping his distance and that situation was a wake up call for me to look into getting treatment. We haven't broken up but our plans to move in together this week are cancelled. I'm really upset and heartbroken about it. I am terrified that this has ruined my relationship with him. He is my best friend.
