I counted how much money I had in my wallet yesterday. Then, I went to visit my mom and went outside for a cigarette. When I came inside $15 was missing out of my wallet. She denies it. She said it was a poltergeist. Are people coming in my house and stealing money from me?

well, i would have to give benefit of the doubt if she just denied it, but blaming it on a poltergeist tells me she stole it. it is sad you cannot trust her. make sure to hide your wallet next time mom is around.

Wow LOL! I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at your situation one bit, but a poltergeist? Come on! I've heard better lies from 10 year olds haha

It is such a shame that your own mother treats you like that though. Do what I do: keep your wallet by your side 24/7 that way she won't have a chance to steal from you in the future.

Tuffy here, if you really know it was her stealing. Remove yourself from toxic mom. Forgive her and try to catch mom in the act of stealing again rarely do they do this one time. Does she have habits to use it for, stealing? Drugs, alcohol, shopping

I doubt they would go for breaking and entering. Family members on the other hand could do that.

Call the police. Tell them you suspect specific people and maybe have evidence
