I was going to go in a long rant but I will just leave it as my sister-in-law and I have different ideas of parenting. Namely, I have expectations of how children should behave. It is bad enough I sometimes dread family dinners

Expectations are a good thing! Hold your head high knowing that you're teaching your kids how to be great adults in the future!

My sister in law is a pain at times too. Funny yours has crazy ideas of parenting. Mine has none as all parenting is done by my brother as everything else including working etc sigh. I do love her but she is just something else!

I ttally agree Divine. It's not that I hate her. She is actually really great in other respects - she has certainly been very good for my brother. It's just that I get really irked everytime the family all gets together. The girls tend to run around being incredibly irritating. I realise what is happening is that, in the throng of people, they are looking for attention. I have spent time with the girls one on one and they have acted quite mature and grown up. But, get them together and all hell breaks loose.
