I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years (3 years this April). I have noticed lately that we are hanging out less and less. I am very introverted and wonder if this is me just wanting alone time lately. He says he is fine with seeing me less but something just doesn't feel right about it. I mean I say I am fine with it too. My psychologist says it is normal. Every one has some distance they need to keep.

I am not sure. What do you guys think?

After 3 years I am not sure why you see each other less not more. Do you two live together? If not what type of things you do when you see each other? How is your relationship otherwise? Are you happy?

I still live with my parents because of my mental health. I cannot work. We don't live together but hopefully will eventually. I think what happens is his dad lives with him because his dad can't afford to live on his own. His dad annoys the ever living daylights out of me. I hate when I am there with my boyfriend and he just annoys me. Because his dad has partial custody of his other child she is sometimes there too which is even more annoying. Sorry I feel so bad saying this. It is like if I go to his house we never get alone time. And if he comes to my house we aren't alone until my parents go to sleep and we can go cuddle in bed. It is all a mess really. Frustrating as all hell. I love him. I am happy. We see each other 3 times a week. Seomtimes for dinner and sometimes just to hang. He works A LOT and has Wednesdays off and his dad is normally at work so we hang all day then. I am just ready for us to get our own place or his dad to get his life together so my boyfriend can stop supporting him financially. Its a tough situation. I love him so much. I guess this is why we don't see each other much...

If you don't work how do you two plan on living together? Will your BF support you? Are you on disability? Is his dad on disability?

My boyfriend has a really well paying job. He has said he will support me. I am filing for disability for the second time now. His dad is not disabled.
