Am I doing something wrong? I just sent yet another message, talking about writing, as he said he wrote poetry and whatnot in his profile, about 20 minutes ago. He hasn't responded, even though he's online right now. I'm confused. Am I doing something wrong?
Yes, I know it's a sort of numbers game, but there's more to it than just mere numbers. There's human emotion, interaction, and eventually, if all goes well, romance. It's not like I'm trying to talk to guys who are a veritable Brad Pitt or anything. This guy is handsome enough, reminds me of a Youtuber I like, but isn't exactly chiseled and toned. He looks like he's even living the same sort of lifestyle as I am. So, it's not like I'm trying to date guys who are out of my league. Maybe I should just give up..... __________________ MY BLOG IS NOW CONVENIENTLY LOCATED HERE!! [UPDATED: 4/30/2017] LIFE IS TOO SHORT, TOO VALUABLE AND TOO PRECIOUS A THING TO WASTE!! |

20 minutes is a very short period of time. There could be many reasons. Perhaps he is chatting with someone at the moment. (If the site has that feature.) He may not actually be at his computer right now. There are many times I walk away from my computer without signing out of the site I'm on. He also may not want to respond to quickly because he's worried it may make him look to eager. Those are just on the top of my head. Try not to get discouraged.

Guess I spoke too soon. He responded after all. He was just busy typing out a very long message. __________________ MY BLOG IS NOW CONVENIENTLY LOCATED HERE!! [UPDATED: 4/30/2017] LIFE IS TOO SHORT, TOO VALUABLE AND TOO PRECIOUS A THING TO WASTE!! |

I was going to say, Art, maybe he's nervous too and trying to figure out what he wants to say! It can totally take me 20 minutes to write an email sometimes, trying to find the right words, right tone, etc.
Glad he responded back. So when are you two having babies? =) Seesaw __________________ What if I fall? Oh, my dear, but what if you fly? Okay, laughs aside, I'm still talking to him, and he's still talking to me. A good sign I'd say. __________________ MY BLOG IS NOW CONVENIENTLY LOCATED HERE!! [UPDATED: 4/30/2017] LIFE IS TOO SHORT, TOO VALUABLE AND TOO PRECIOUS A THING TO WASTE!! |
