I feel like I should stay away from guys because I seem to have no idea what proper boundaries are and I keep on putting myself in situations that I don't need to put myself in. It's really scary and I have no idea how to protect myself I feel uncomfortable with every boy even the ones I trust. I am very paranoid and always think that men are backstabbing even my friends. I often have hallucinations of them backstabbing. Like I said I am afraid of everyone and I have no idea what healthy boundaries are. People like to lecture me about it but I just keep on the doing the same things that hurt me. I don't know what to do I have no idea is there's any groups that can discuss healthy boundaries in relationship?

Hello. A therapist can definitely help with this. Also you can call the domestic violence shelter in your area and ask them if they have support or empowerment groups/classes. You can see if Co-Dependents Anonymous meets in your area. The first step would be to not date until you heal yourself and learn what a healthy relationship looks like and how to create boundaries. Until then you will likely be a magnet for creeps.
