"You were that foundation
Never gonna be another one, no
I followed, so taken
So conditioned I could never let go
Then sorrow, then sickness
Then the shock when you flip it on me
So hollow, so vicious
So afraid I couldn't let myself see
That I could never be held
Back up, no, I'll hold myself
Check the rep, yep you know my rail
Forget the rest let them know my hell
Damn, I'm back yep, my soul ain't sell,
Kept respect up the vets stay their,
Let the rest be to tell they tale
That I was there saying
And these promises broken
Deep, feeble
Each word gets lost in the echo
So one last lie I can see through
This time I finally let you
Go"

- Linkin Park, 'Lost In The Echo'.

It's cathartic when lyrics just speak to us and help aid the healing process.

Linkin Park's Final Masquerade & Stone Sour's Through Glass strike a chord for me.

Music calms me & at times lyrics from many songs have enabled me to communicate with close friends when my own words have failed me.

I've been listening to linkin park since 02, EVERY album has at least one song that resonates...and sometimes other resonate at other times. So much talent, so much insight into all of us humans. I love this band so much. They put words to the pain so many of us feel because they have felt the same. (((HUGS)))

You articulated that perfectly. They've been my favorite band since '01
