I have had it with the loneliness, so I'm going to openly seek out friends and prospective romantic interests on here. I'm hoping that at least one person out there can help me with this. Is there even an audience for such things on a mental illness site?

its depends on where you are and the age gap between us. I don't mind being friends though either which way. I could use a friend who I can at least identify with

Well, the thing is, there is already a "Single and Lonely" social group, but it's not the most active. I also find social groups to be a bit.....awkward to use as most aren't all that active.

when it comes to groups, things don't work out the way you plan. I tried them and end up getting hurt, than I turned to online groups and those failed as well. it really depends on how you look at them and whether or not you put forth effort.I always got stuck with the responsibility however .-.
