I recently told someone I am not a disposable person. This is not someone I've mentioned in the past but this person treated me very poorly, possibly more poorly than anyone I've mentioned in previous posts. Just recently, I gave up on the person and told her I am not disposable. She tried to sweeten it up but of course I wasn't buying it, since she has done that before. Also she played it off as if she had no idea what I was talking about.

I told her I am not disposable and that I'm a human being who does not deserve to be used anymore. She just replied saying okay and whatever. So, regardless if she knew what it meant, she knows that I will not stand for it. I think she knew what I meant and I even told her what I meant as well. Only texting me when she is upset about something and treating me as a last choice and like crap when everything is fine. That's the kind of behavior I don't stand for or take. Eventually I will stop associating with someone like that. Wish more people would realize that. I feel good that I got rid of her.

Having the ability to set personal boundaries is an important skill.
