Just need to vent. I moved back in with my mom after my divorce for financial reasons and I truly appreciate her. Whether I'm having a bad day or not she comes in and talks to me for hours about random, irrelevant things. It's literally driving me up the wall and has me pulling my hair out. Gggaaahhh!!! Thanks for letting me vent. I know I'm lucky to have a mom who loves and wants to spend time with me. I'm just having a really, really bad day and I'm getting stressed out.

Sorry you're having such a bad day. I can sympathize with you and so can my wife! My mother - in - law is very much without boundaries. While we don't live with her(she lives alone) she calls every day just about and is constantly e-mailing my wife and I. I know she means well and she's lonely but she works a full time job at her sons office. I have a lot of respect for her but we just need a little space.
I agree you are lucky to have a mom who genuinely cares about your welfare. Cherish her.

I think she cares very much about you. Sorry you're having a crappy day. We all need to have some "me" time sometimes and I'm sure her small chit chat is annoying enough when you're having a bad day

Having a mom you deeply love and cherish, who loves you back is one of life's most beautiful blessings. i get a little annoyed with my mom sometimes too, but never because I don't live her so I totally get it. My mom is an angel in a world filled with demons.
