Okay, so there is someone in my life who shows both signs of being attracted to me and signs that she is uncomfortable around me. Without being overly direct, what can I say that would give her an opportunity to clarify?

What's wrong with being direct?

I've always appreciated that approach, its one of the things I love most about my BF.

This is a conundrum. Can you give us more details or examples of both the attraction and uncomfortable behavior? I agree with the previous poster that you need to have a conversation with her but I don't know exactly what to say. I hope another poster on this thread will have some idea as to what to say without you both feeling awkward. Good luck and best wishes....
