Finally I decided to tell my village about the coming storm that I keep getting warnings abut via. dreams and god himself. Didn't want god to be disappointed in me and frankly I did not want to disappoint myself.

Of course the village didn't believe me and were saying stuff like "Evidence? Are you okay? Go away!", I was too ashamed to tell them the evidence so I just explained that due to global warming there will be a storm that will flood the village and a massive tidal wave will come in and the rise in earthquakes won't help matters either. They still didn't believe me because they think that they have adequate flood/storm 'defences' anyway.

Yes, this actually happened and am still very embarrassed about it.
I did expect this to happen, because this happens every time I talk to people about personal/important things.

If you knew me you could say that I have friends but it doesn't feel this way, I cannot really be myself around other people because they try to correct me or they just get annoyed or think I am weird so I always have to pacify them or just say that "I was just joking."

Don't really talk to people anyway because they scare me and everything bad I think will happen does indeed happen when it comes to people. I don't even feel close to my family because I'm too scared to talk to them for obvious reasons.

Although I do have a dog who I spend a lot of time with. The dog follows me around everywhere and she does have an annoying bark but its better than people. Me and my dog seem to understand each other, I understand when she needs to go outside or when she is hungry or when she wants to sleep, I know her daily routine. The best part is that I don't have to talk to her and I don't think she judges me either.

At the moment, I feel like my dog is my best friend. She's the only company I can tolerate.
Have any of you ever felt this way? If so, don't hesitate to share your experiences!

Have you sought help from a healthcare professional? I want to be supportive but I think the most constructive support would be to tell you to get help. People are reacting to you in such ways because they don't hear such things in their usual day-to-day lives. And I will say it myself. These ideas you have are not usual. Thus my recommendation you talk to a psychiatrist about this. They will be able to help you get to the bottom of of your thinking.

Your dog sounds like such a great companion. Yes, dogs are amazingly therapeutic for our troubles and our souls.

I have been to a doctor and then to a few therapists for my depression and anxiety a few months ago, the medication had helped mostly.
Have not seen the therapist lately due to the driving distance and lack of access to transport, when you miss or fail to contact tmy ex-therapists then they will assume that your circumstances have changed then they cancel everything. Full stop. You will be back from where you started.

So pretty much I have given up on the therapist stuff because I feel like I can manage my own behaviour better than they can, partly I just vent out on the forums which is very calming, its kinda like emptying the rubbish into a box. Also the medication has helped me more than I will ever know. Also I am very stubborn XD

Nonetheless, I will consider your suggestion especially if my behaviour makes it difficult for me to work. But in the meantime, I'll just consider it.

Well usually medication combined with the therapy is most effective, but I digress. Clearly making hour long trips is burdensome, understandably so. I mean, I sure as heck wouldn't travel an hour just to sit and talk for an hour, then travel another hour back home. Ugh.

Yeah, most people do look quizzacly on anyone that chats up premonitions and God directly talking.

It is what it is.

Dogs do make wonderful companions.

There are tons of people who prefer their pets to people. You're right, your pet loves you, is supportive and doesn't judge you. When I'm having a bad day, my cat and dog are very comforting to me. There's nothing wrong with that. Best wishes.
