Hi, Songs.
It's always hard to the ditched! I know...I too have been ditched several times, but I have also been the "ditcher" upon occasion. I hope this doesn't make me a bad person. I find that when I am the one being ditched, I feel flawed, while if I ditched someone, I feel valid reasons for having done so, and I tried to do it tactfully and gently. When i have been the "ditchee," (the one being ditched), it has taken me years to recover, whereas if I ditched someone, I just went on about my business without much in the way of remorse or recovery time. Since I've been on both ends of this, the best thing you can do, in my humble opinion, is to dust yourself off and get on with life. Patty |
