Hi guys! I'm new here and stumbled onto this site from an internet search. I need help, I'm completely in love with someone and we called it quits yesterday due to my infidelity and anger issues. I have relationship anxiety I can't stay committed because I fear the person is going to hurt me so I try to hurt them first. What do I do? How do I stop this?

What would you think of seeing a therapist?

I wonder if caregivers were inconsistent and/or hurtful to you when you were growing up.

There are some therapists that work on a sliding scale. Some churches even have therapists. As an alternative, you could look for books or workbooks that address your specific issue. Either way, I think you'll have to put in some inner work to clear this up. Good luck and best wishes.

Im glad you can see how your actions are causing the problems.

I agree......... many Therapist work on a sliding scale.. Look into local county mental health. I found my T there and we worked for 6 years.

I hope you reach out for help, you deserve happiness
