I have been with my boyfriend for almost seven years. This is my first long time relationship, but I am in my 30s. I was a late bloomer so I have only had one other boyfriend.
My problem is: I don't know if I feel like I am in love. I do not dislike my boyfriend and I have no desire to end the relationship. I want to be with him, I just have never felt like I've been in love with anyone. I'm kind of a loner, while my boyfriend is the opposite. I'm surprised we are so good together actually because sometimes we are opposites. But like I said, I don't want to leave him. We don't live together, but we would like to. Finances and family obligations make living together nearly impossible right now. But that does not bother me at all. It bothers him more. I just don't feel overwhelmed with emotion about our relationship, but I feel very happy about my life. Am I just questioning something over nothing? Does anyone else feel like this in relationships? I do not get lonely very easily so I am thinking that may have something to do with it? |
