I am HORRIBLE at reading people so I legit have no idea what to think
I've been texting this guy a few weeks now. Casual, fun chats, with some smiley and winky faces thrown in. I saw him the other day and we chatted a bit, he said something about hating texting I was like "Well you text with me?" and he said "Yes and that's the longest text chats I have with anyone" I said "well I must be entertaining then" and he said "Yes, you are entertaining" Well, I ASSUME he is just being nice/friendly, which is fine but am I missing something? Does he actually "like" me?? |

Hmmm.... why not turn the texting into phone calls and/or dates? Take the next step? Sounds to me like he likes you but is admitting that he hates texting. The fact that he has texted with you more than anyone shows he likes you. The only real way to tell if someone likes you is to suggest the next step and see what he says. (((Hugs)))

"Like" is a pretty broad term.
He said something to suggest he communicated with you in a way he doesn't with others, which is prolonged texting when he says he otherwise doesnt like texting. That shows he has some kind of interest in you. What kind of interest that is I couldn't tell you. The only thing you can really do is make a legitimate move, or wait for him to while continuing to wonder if he likes you until he does make that real move. If your just texting and having casual chats there's nothing there yet but potential silent feelings. sometimes a guy isnt comfortable making the next move until hes sure he wont be rejected. I also knew a guy who is now my fiance lol.. we talked for months and he never tried to take it furthur, i finally did. I found out it was because he just happened to be in situations where the girl always got the ball rolling instead so he didnt really know how to. |

From the little that is here I'd assume that he likes texting with you so obviously he doesn't "hate" you. I'd just give it more time & see if there's any substance.

I'm personally not ready for dating so that wont be happening soon. It's fine as it is, friendly whatever. I just was curious because it was a weird comment and I didn't know what to think about it.
