My nextdoor neighbor's child is graduating from college. We've known them for many years and they have helped us over the years. I don't want to look cheap or give too much. Relationships can be affected by these things sometimes. Should I give $60?? or more??? or less??? I'm agonizing over this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you know how much they usually spend? Either way, the thought is the most important thing, so I don't think it will be a huge problem..
Thanks for this!

I wouldn’t give more than 50. Unless you are very rich

I agree that $50 is more than enough. I think getting her anything at all is generous. Don't feel cheap, you are going above and beyond.
Thanks for this!
