So, I don't know if you've heard, but one of my favorite comedians, Aziz Ansari, got accused of sexual assault. In this new age of empowered women and the #MeToo movement, I was so proud of how far women have come. But with Aziz's story, not only was the claim completely taken out of context, but what turned out to be just an awkward type of "hook-up" date gone bad, this latest claim may have damaged his career.

He is not completely innocent in this, his actions were aggressive and he was being a pig, but that doesn't mean he is a sexual predator.

I guess the point of this post is, I feel like the days of men courting women are over. It has been said that there is a slow decline in romance over the years, due to the "swiping" culture and online dating. However, with stories like this and what I feel is a new "man bashing" culture, the days of when a guy even wants to give a woman a compliment or buy her a drink may be out the window.

There is no excuse for predators like Harvey Weinstein to exist, and I agree they must be stopped. No woman should be assaulted or abused and I feel horrible for the women that have been through that. But where do we draw the line ladies? Can we not punish the good men out there?
