My wife has three sisters. Three of the four are completely devoid of any quality like patience, forgiveness, understanding. How they are treated by others is the only determinant of how they see others. Still in the mind of a 13 year old in a 60's body. Is my wife one of the three? not sayin.

Hi Kreg, sorry but No Patience, No forgiveness, No understanding! Wow those girls must be perfect. I am 61 and although I do not act like a child all the time there are times when I could say my mind is in the place of one. And that can be a fun place to be. If it is a constant behavior well probably not a great idea for a 60 year old man. You did not give a lot of information but I am thinking your wife is one of the three because the lack of patience etc should not affect you so much. Tell the girls to lighten up and quit being so critical, life is to damn short! Maybe they should try Greeting others with a smile and a good word and chances are they will treat them the same

I don't see where yr coming from? How can they be perfect when they don't have any virtues? Anyway you can't change someone after a life of adolescent behavior. Only one of the girls tries to communicate otherwise the rest aren't on speaking terms. One is a narcissistic lawyer, one has so little money and is so defensive about the lack of social status that any imagined insult puts you on the families shix list. A person will begin to reform IMO only when life puts them to the ground. I'm proof of that. I work around a lot of people and I think most want to respond from the high road- just that at times most anybody can be childish.

My comment about them being perfect was sarcasm. Sorry you did not see that. I disagree, I think childish behavior can be changed if you want to change it and work at it. But I guess I did not understand completely cause the childish behavior I was thinking about would be fun, and from your post dont think that is where you were coming from I am thinking when you refer to the "high road" you mean better than?
