Crap - I thought I was getting a Velcro cast and I could move my arm. Wrong, they put me in a brace that looks like an Iron Man device and locked my arm at ninety degrees. Life just keeps rubbing my nose in it. Crap!!!!!

That sucks. I've had casts, one on a wrist and across my hand. I ended up ripping the part off on my hand so I could actually do dishes and cleaning. Hope you get it better soon.

Orrrrrr you will catch the eye of a lady. She might strike up a conversation with your having an iron man brace.

So I was at the doctor’s office yesterday and they were taking my surgery bandage off - I wasn’t wearing a tee shirt because it is difficult to put on with one arm... the physical therapists told me that I should wear an undershirt because other people might be offended..... I said isn’t this a medical office and I’m sure people have seen men with shirts off before - see looked stunned and suggested that I cut off the sleeves my tee shirts. I asked her if I’d get a discount for destroying my wardrobe 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳😳🐷👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕👕

Perhaps she said this because clients have complained to her about things like this but whether she thought it (since she was stunned she must be a "keeping up appearances person") or people have complained in the past--she shouldn't have said this!!! Big deal/so what and you had your reasons. I am sure you looked fine and she should have been worrying about your health and morale not this. SHEESH.

Are you wandering the streets topless?! What did she mean? If she means she wants you to wear at least a tank top during physical therapy, yeah, i can understand that. Even Paul Newman was memorably scary looking in his older years, and that was WITH an undershirt! often in physio youre in a big room with a lot of other people. Its more like a gym than a drs exam room.
