When have you influenced others? Were you aware of it?

How did you influence that person? What was the outcome of the influence in the other person?

Everyone has an effect on others.

It can be a good, bad or neutral thing.

It’s hard to really answer you without more information, care to share more?

I'm just seeking for any situation where you feel you influenced another person. It can be anything.

I'm curious because in my job some people seem to want my opinion. Also, I may have influenced a coworker's career path.

Many times. Sometimes purposefully, other times without trying by just saying my thoughts passively about something. When I have friends they tend to seek me for advice, even when I tell them I might not be the best person for it (especially when it's guy friends wanting advice on how to get girls - I'm not a typical girl and thus can't give typical advice there). Typically when I have influenced others it goes well, but sometimes not so much. I can't recall any specific examples, but I'll say that's a good thing because I tend to only remember bad things...
