All he usually says is hi, I've ignored him over a month. Most ge says is hi how are you. Nothing but trying to weasel into my life. I wrote off the money he owes me. Should I just block him?

blocking is the best thing here. his texts are unwelcome and uninvited.

Trying to get some context here; what exists in your lives that remains common together and hence necessary you remain in touch? Children? Pets? Friends and acquaintances? I am just saying that there are legitimate reasons two ex-partners would remain in communication. However, if such things don't exist then there is no reason to do so. I like the mention of blocking but before doing so I guess I would offer up explanation and an advisement I was going to take such steps. Doing so need not be difficult; a simple text of your own, "Look you are making me uncomfortable, I won't accept any more communication from you" should suffice.
Let us know what you decide. |

I disagree that saying something in response is a good idea simply because he's texting "hi, how are you" likely to pull her into a conversation again. she has done well not to respond and I think he knows already that it's uninvited at this point due to that. You owe him no explanation as you're exes and considering the context that you've been just ignoring his texts and you dont' ask any questions regarding ties due to other circumstances that there are none. Outright blocking is likely still the best method.

It’s been an ongoing saga about him texting and you not knowing what to do. Do you need a particular support about him texting or do you need advice or do you want us to tell you how to respond to him? Are you looking for something in particular here?
