I just really feel not worthy right now. I feel that no one loves or cares about me.

I have 2 friends that I thought were close. But I'm realizing they only come around to me when it is convenient for them. They both have issues too though. One is dealing with depression, and isolates herself from me when she feels unhappy. I don't understand it. The other is really extroverted, and I haven't even reached out to her for myself today, because I know she won't be there. Her adopted son is having drug issues. I reached out to her to tell her I'm there for her, but I heard nothing back, which made me feel ******, due to the way that I'm feeling myself: isolated.

Being an adult and making friends when you don't have a job, and you're isolated and introverted, is hard. It's near impossible today.

I do think I'm depressed as well.

My parents are on a trip. My brother has a concussion and doesn't want to talk to anyone. A guy friend of mine isn't my friend anymore because he had feelings for me and it creeped me out.

Oh my gosh...my friend who has the adopted son got back to me. She was so sweet and I feel better. She is going through a hard time.

I think it's hard to have depression. It distorts reality and makes my world small. I will keep doing my best and trying. Its all I can do. In my post in "coping with emotions" I mentioned doing healthy things on my own, even when feeling isolated. I think this is healthy thinking.

Depression does play tricks on your mind and deceives you into believing the worst. It colors everything into a darker shade whereby we begin to have much darker thoughts. Glad you heard from you friend and glad you're wanting to do healthy things for yourself. That's great!
Thanks for this!

I can't guarantee to be even a good friend because I don't think I'm a good enough person yet, but if you're willing to try, please hit me up anytime you want
