Maybe I hope for/expect too much.....

I had hoped that people in this forum would be interested in healthy communication. I still think that most are ..

I still hope that most are open to learning and “growing” .. as I am.

To me, healthy communication does not include multiple off topic replies, or an attempt to somehow “justify” abuse. Which a former “therapist” also did. he treated me as if I was his “bad object”

I try to reply to the OP with support.... when I post.....

I haven’t found a healthy therapist to bounce my ideas off. I have found therapists with an inability to listen. I have never been delusional. I was entangled in some transference/“attachment” with a couple of therapists irl (which they encouraged) - which I’m now free from.

I think I have learnt some things about relationships, including online communication, in all my years on this planet.

I don’t think I’m completely “wrong” about most of my ideas re what is healthy vs unhealthy communication.

Feel free to delete this post mods, if it’s not appropriate.

It’s MY opinion.

I like what you said about healthy communication. I'm thinking being a therapist is a calling -- but maybe some in the field view it as a job. Big difference. Well, I hope we keep the healthy communication going here.

Having expectations of the types of behaviors that you want to surround yourself with is healthy and appropriate. Most certainly not too much to ask.
