I have mental disabilities such as major depressive disorder with psychotic features. For years I've been having so many problems trying to be with a girl that I have strong feelings for. I think my mental disability is the main cause. Is it? What do I need to do? Please help me. Thanks.

I see this is your second post here on PC. So welcome to Psych Central.
![]() What can you do about it? Well... if this girl simply isn't into you, or isn't interested for some other reason, I don't know as there's a lot you can do. I guess my thinking would be that what you can do may be to simply be a friend to her, if you can, & see where it goes... if anywhere. You can't make her want to be with you if she just doesn't. And, if that's the case, perhaps what this is going to come down to is that you may simply need to keep your options open in the relationships department. Good luck with it though.

I agree with Skeezyks. If it has been years and she doesn't want to be with you, I think it's time to move on. It might have more to do with you than with her, but whatever the case, it doesn't seem like this is going to work out.

I believe she is interested in me or at least at one time was... she wants something from me? What should I do know? |
