 My daughter and I are in disagreement with the friends that my two grandchildren are choosing. She lives 5 miles from them and takes them there every week maybe once or twice. The single parent of the children is very liberal and doenst enforce many rules or boundaries. My daughter and go into to it the other day and haven't talked since. I received a text today telling me that the childrens friends are a mute subject. What to do?

I'm afraid that my perspective on this is that these are her children and therefore she is in charge.
My advice is to let this issue go. Your ongoing loving familial relationships will be much more important and influential on your grandchildren than whatever happens with this specific issue. |

I agree will bill, they are her children. You don't say how old they are but as a grandmother your role is to spoil them not pick their friends.
