So I asked a girl out for coffee, we've known each other for a while, we tried and showed interest in dating but never actually got round to it. Then when I asked her she simply just said "don't let me down, others have"
I don't know how to comprehend it. What does that mean? |

Sounds like she’s been hurt in the past and is asking you not to hurt her.

If you want to date her then date her. don’t blow off dates or play nonsense games by not communicating on the phone , talking or texting.
She’s being very honest with you so show her same respect

^^^ Also, I think you should just ask her what she meant by that remark. Just ask.

It sounds a little needy.

As it's just for coffee, it sounds like she is simply asking you to show up. In other words, don't stand her up.
