Have you ever had a time when you're in a social situation but you just suddenly lose interest in talking with barely anyone? You enjoy being in a crowd, but you just don't wanna talk. You're not inferior, anxious, or anything. You just feel zoned out and tired all of a sudden and you're just really sleepy and unfocused. Or suddenly you rather do things alone, but still want your friends to physically be around you.
Sometimes I find it hard to tell others when I'm like this because one minute I'm a loud party girl then suddenly rude and cold and people just get scared/anxious when talking to me (and apparently I have a dominant personality). I don't feel depressed though, just guilty to others when my mood suddenly went down If you have, how do usually deal with it? |

How frequently do your moods change? Have you ever seen anyone about it?
You don’t owe it to anyone to be the life of the party 24/7. If your mood is down, you can always come up with an excuse not to attend. And if you do, be polite |

I wanted to ask if you’ve ever tried fish oil supplements for mood regulation? You should have a chat with your doctor and see if it’s worthwhile going on. I use them and find in the long run it helps.

I worked with someone a bit like that. She would be chatting away and then suddenly get down and quiet. Not rude just go into herself. One day someone asked if she were OK and she said "that's me i get very depressed very suddenly " I know she was on seroxat, paxil in theUSA i think. I don't know any more. You should see doctor about it

How do you feel about the times when you are the chatty ‘life of the party’? Do you feel like you are overly animated in those moments, more than the situation calls for? What are the things that trigger you into suddenly feeling withdrawn and quiet? What kind of things are you thinking when you get that way?
Do you or can you see a therapist?

my life of the party moment usually comes when I'm excited because my anxiety doesn't cripple up when i'm in an intimidating social situation, it's a very rare moment for me but most people think I'm often more cheerful and confident. usually i avoid everyone when i'm anxious, and in pain mainly because of shame and guilt. and people who usually see me cheerful and confident would just think i'm being arrogant when i avoid them but yeah sometimes when i'm comfortable in a social situations, i just got quiet and had no mood to talk without any trigger. i just got quiet. and tired. but i love being around them, but i'm also scared of being an outcast. it's just weird. |

I’m sorry the therapists were disappointing. I’ve had much of the same.
