Thanks for sharing it's a great read

"Just because something is true doesn’t mean thinking more about it is helpful. Even though rumination erodes our confidence and wellbeing in the long-run, we easily get addicted to it
because it actually feels good in the very short-term. It makes us feel competent and proactive, which briefly alleviates the strong discomfort of helplessness."

Wow! So many years thinking it was doing something and the years tick by.

Here's a quick summary:

Stop asking for reassurance.
Stop ruminating on past mistakes.
Stop expecting too much of yourself.
Stop worrying about things you can’t control.
Stop making decisions based on how you feel.

I personally think this list is bullsh**.

In truth, a confident person wouldn't read a list on how to be confident.

So number one should be: don't read this.

I agree that confident people don’t need to read on how to be more confident. Why would they? Unless for fun or to help others. It was meant for people who might consider boosting their confidence and self esteem
