Hey @Loreta: I wanted to share this definition to make sure I knew what you were sharing about. Is this love for your partner? Or are you talking about one-sided love for someone else while being with your partner?

What caused you to lose 10K? Do you mean you gave/loaned/gifted someone things or a specific amount of money?

Hi,

Is the relationship actually over on his part?

I think if the relationship is dead from his part, then let go, get on with your life, struggle with the memories, sure, but do everything in your power to shake free from the grip of this false love. There's no love for you, it's over lady.

Face everyday with the idea of forgetting - and one day you will. You'll be free. Keep going! Put it all behind you.

I'm thinking maybe the love is for someone else, and you have lost weight stressing about it?

Try not to feel guilty. That will only make it worse. These things happen.

Here is a Wendy Cope poem:

Two Cures for Love
Wendy Cope

1. Don’t see him. Don’t phone or write a letter.
2. The easy way: get to know him better.

Forgive the jokey poem. But zero contact is the only way, unfortunately.

If you want to make it work with the current partner, you have to be all-in with him and move on from the old flame.
