I have a friend, more details after the question, who claimed he would send something and he did not. Said he would phone, he did not. Said he'd send a photo, he did not. Now ok this in itself is not a crime but if I ask about it I was either ignored or he said some flippant remark. I don't mind someone not following through if at least they acknowledge that they should have done it and say sorry.

Well I ask a friend and she says most people dont do waht they say they will, just the few I mean I always do my best to and if I cannot say sorry. As for guys (sorry chaps out there) they will only do somethng they say they will if they fancy the girl, otherwise they either dont do it or take ages. Well is this true have I been so ignorant of people all my 30 years so I do not see that, the people I know are reliable but is this unusual? I just want to know.

As for the guy I knew, know, whatever. Well I met him at an online dating site, ok a silly place for a honest, genuine trusting lass like me to go to I know. BUt well I have known his online persona since June and I had thought he wanted maybe something a little more than friendship and not just an intimate encounter shall we say. Anyhow all this not doing what he said he would and not explaining why not got me all screwed up, so I sent an email and a brief reply from him has made things a little worse, but I've added a bit more for him to think about and I hope not to hear for a few days. Anyhow I dont know what he wants mostly just a good friend but I would not treat a good friend this way even just for a good friend I'd follow through if I said I'd do something. But am I unusual in this is the world full of people who say they will do something and they dont or takes ages to without giving a reason why?
