I realize I really shouldn't complain. I have things better than most people. I've managed to stay employed during all of this and my family have all managed to stay healthy. However I have anxiety and depression and other issues steming from being a ACOA(adult child of an alcoholic). I have only a few solid friendship and despite now being in my mid-20s have never had a serious romantic relationship. I was working on my social issues but the pandemic has made that basically impossible. I want to talk to new people if only to break up the monotony of the past 6 months but don't know where to start and I've tried dating apps in the past and don't like them for a multitude of reasons.

Hi Crisscross,

I've been getting more restless the longer this goes on. I can't work because I'm physically disabled so I have lots of time on my hands. I have 3 friends but am seeing that quality counts more than quantity. It would be great to find some online support!

Congratulations on keeping the job, you are one of the lucky ones. Just remain focused and use this time to speak top family and friends. Call, text, email, etc.
