I am 68 years old and using the CARE program based on Relational Cultural Theory (RCT) by Amy Banks to develop and maintain growth fostering relationships.

I’m recently retired and lost all interaction with adults via work groups and miss regular interaction.

I am a loving, caring, emotional and spiritual happily married man looking for an online support group.

Is anybody here familiar with RCT?

I read the book Wired to Connect by Amy Banks a few years ago. It was a good book. I don't know of any groups though.

In doing more research, I see that the CARE Program was built on RCT, relational-cultural theory.

I read more about RCT here:
Relational-cultural therapy - Wikipedia

Apparently it was a therapy model that grew out of a feminist movement.

Check out this site from Amy Banks. Try the assessment too. How did you score?

LOL, I got both books. Read Wired to Connect and then got Four Clicks. They are the same book. Wired to Connect is a paperback version released under a more catchy name. LOL 😁

How strange! But yeah 4 clicks, you definitely wouldn't know what that's about.
