I used to wish that a Narcissistic relative would stop spewing venom about different “types” of people (especially me). What a waste of my time. These individuals are incapable of owning their stuff and darkness and project onto anyone they want to hurt. It’s very boring They only have a limited capacity to change unless they get supply out of it. Imho. This individual refuses therapy. Nothing is ever her fault even in the smallest way. Sitting in her ivory tower passing judgment on all and sundry.

There was nobody there for “my defense”

I miss many of the kind, gentle members who used to post here. They are “well”....

Dear Fuzzybear,

I had a relative like that. It was hard to be around that person since they were like a black hole draining all the peace of joy out of a room. My heart goes out to you.

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen

I am sorry you have to put up with this. IMO, these types of people alienate others. They do this because they were once wounded themselves and now no longer see themselves or others realistically. I keep this in mind and try to detach (not always easy I know ) or walk away when around this kind of behavior.

Sometimes I worry about some of the gentle members who left PC because they were struggling with depression. I hope they are all OK.
