No, I don't think you can be addicted to a person, but you can fantasize about a person and decide to live in that fantasy. I believe an addiction involves a substance with addicting powers over everyone, or at least statistically significant :-) numbers and no person has that. But being attracted to someone and wanting to be with them is not necessarily a bad thing. That happens to everyone falling in love. The chemical part of that goes away after a bit though. Unless there's mutual love, there's no "reality" happening, it's a willful fantasy/crush.

of the whole population of men, i think a large portion are addicted (need/want) to women... women are people... a part of the the larger whole of women might be addicted to (want/need) men? men are people...
people is a group made up of persons.... can an individual be addicted to a person? if 'addiction' is equated to need/want ... then, imo, the answer is yes... |

we use the word "addiction" to describe a un-healthy relationship with a substance or a person, food, it does'nt matter what it is, we've allowed it to have a greater place in our lives than is healthy or appropriate.
