I am actively pursuing a divorce from a husband who is uses extreme passive manipulation. We have a three year old but I can't live this way anymore. I grew up in the same environment and am now stuck in the same nightmare. I just need support from people who have been through the same thing. I feel completely alone.

I'm happy to chat. I am new here (today) and actively thinking about a divorce after 20 years of marriage - ugh. My husband is overpowering and manipulative, everything I do is wrong, but he is the good guy that is just trying to make our lives better - bs. I believe that he is sinking into some manic depressive behavior that is really affecting my mental health as well as my 14 year old daughter, and I feel like we need to get out before it gets worse. I came on here looking for advice, and just general support and to talk with others. I'm feeling pretty alone, so if you'd like to talk, I'm here.
